Earthology Institute would like to thank all who donated in 2010, particularly the Project Earth Festival and Team Max. With that funding we will expand our work in 2011. This work includes:
-Working with regional and national organizations to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act.
- Promoting state and federal policies that eliminate potentially harmful chemicals from baby and children’s products.
-Promoting sustainability and a greener economy by offering educational opportunities for families and businesses.
-Educating people on the importance of the arts in creating a more sustainable environment for future generations.

Earthology Institute is also proud to announce the purchase of its first parcel of land. This land in the Viroqua, Wisconsin area has a diverse habitat that is heavily wooded and includes a waterway that is a tributary to the Mississippi River. A portion of this land was going to be cleared and developed, but we secured the property and will work to preserve and ecologically restore the land and waterway. Our goal is to use the site as a part of an ecological educational retreat center where the public will be welcome to attend workshops on a variety of sustainability practices and restoration techniques.
